Tuesday the 14th April 2015 saw the CEEQA 2015 Real Estate Awards Gala held at SOHO Factory in Warsaw with close to 700 regional and international real estate leaders from more than 50 countries gathered to celebrate the successes and success stories of the New Europe property sector during the past calendar year.
It was a chance for the team at Tara HRC to let their hair down, have some fun and generally clown around as you can see from the picture below…….
When asked about the event Twomey had this to say…….
” It was a fantastic event and great to catch up with people from our sector in an informal environment, of course the event was all about celebrating companies and individuals who have made a difference within our industry right across the CEE region”
When asked about his own company Twomey explained…
“As a relatively young company in the real estate recruitment sector in CEE, it was fantastic for us to be recognised and shortlisted for the second year in succession during the CEEQA 2015 Real Estate Awards, it just shows me that our team is doing the right thing and we are adding value to our clients overall, I’d cetainly like to thank my team for their continued hard work.
The awards ceremony was kicked off by Pawel Tamborski, President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, with one of the highlights of the evening being a live interview during the awards ceremony with sector legend David Mitzner, Holocaust survivor, Russian Gulag survivor and deal maker extraordinaire who turns 100 this month, previous recipient of the 2005 CEEQA award for Lifetime Achievement in Real Estate, who was presented with another unique award for Double Lifetime Achievement having reached an even more important milestone, in a live video link from his base in Houston.
These prestigious industry awards are for business performance and achievement across 18 countries in Central & Eastern Europe and Southeast Europe and are organised in association with the Financial Times to recognise business excellence in commercial real estate investment and to showcase the achievements of the sector to the international investment arena and the global financial sectors
The awards are judged by a panel of expert representatives of market leading companies active right across the New Europe arena and voting across all the awards is supervised by globally trusted consultant Deloitte.
Guests at the event raised nearly 20,000 euros for the Polish charity Fundacja Dziecieca Fantazja [Foundation for Children’s Dreams] working to light up the lives of Polish children who suffer from terminal illnesses or life limiting conditions by making their dreams and wishes come true.
The Tara HRC team were also on hand to enjoy the events activities and you can see part of the team below. Unfortuantely the girls would not let the boys in on this shot.
Other entertainment on the evening included performances by acrobatic dance group Red Pop Dance Creator, rising Polish stars Kuba & Sabina, celebrated Polish brass orchestra Dziubek Band and stalwart pianist Albert Kurowski who has played at every CEEQA Gala since its inception.
