There will be a lot of hiring activity in the Polish property market this summer as funds, developers and agencies bolster their teams for Q4, according to Mark Twomey, managing partner at real estate recruitment firm Tara HR Consulting.
“Among the agencies, JLL are looking to rebuild their property management team following the departure of a large number of people to CBRE,” Mr Twomey said and added that DTZ is also rebuilding following the recent departures to BNP Paribas.
With construction on a number of new office projects scheduled to launch in the last quarter of this year and the first quarter of next year, there is a large requirement for development and leasing skills, Mr Twomey said.
There is also a lot of activity going on in the retail sector. Following their shopping centre acquisitions in recent months, funds are now embarking on refurbishment and repositioning projects, Mr Twomey added.
