MARKETING SPECIALIST – BUDAPEST

OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for setting trade marketing objectives and KPIs; developing effective purchaser and trade plans and activities, POSM, channel standards for traditional trade channel based on the brand objectives, channel expertise, and customer/purchaser insights; ensuring excellent execution in the field using these programs and standards; providing the analytical and planning support to Sales and related functions.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
In the cooperation with Sales teams the Marketing Speacialist translates brand strategies into comprehensive channel strategies, plans & programs to create competitive advantage in the market place.
Develops and ensures excellence in execution of an annual channel plans.
Evaluate all opportunities to ensure ahead-of-market capabilities development, runs test projects fitting into long-term company
Sets up thorough assessment of effectiveness and cost efficiency of various trade marketing and sales-related programs (national and local), identifies best practices and present them for the national / international rollout.
Provide timely communication to Sales (BMP, Customers) about new programs, launches, events and other relevant information. Updates sales presenter and other sales / promo materials whenever required.
Regularly visits trade outlets to ensure effective program execution and up to date channel understanding and expertise
THE CANDIDATE:
Experience in development and execution of the trade marketing strategy in a consumer goods environment, preferably in a company recognized for its successful product leadership and execution of such programs.
Experience and expertise in commercial environment with emphasis around developing, launching, implementing, or executing marketing initiatives within traditional-trade channels
Experience in power tool category will be a significant plus
Business travel required: valid driving license, no restrictions of travel abroad
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Powerpoint
Marketing MA degree will be an additional advantage
Fluent Czech, Slovak, and English
